Bois D’Arc Park

Eight pickleball courts and plenty of shade under the awning offer up good play for the locals.

Picture day was a bit cloudy and rainy, but a few diehards showed up anyway… us included. On a typical morning or afternoon when the weather is nice, these courts are jam packed.

The stacking system works well, but sometimes you’re also competing with the locals renting a few of the courts, so getting into a game can take some time.

If you’re from out of town, you’re also out of luck when it comes to renting a court. You must have a local address to register and pay for a court.

If you’re in the area and looking for some open play, it’s free and often filled with all levels of players. Parking by the courts is limited, so plan to park in one of the parking lots neighboring the courts.

We really like the live webcam you can view to see how many players are on court 24/7 (link below).

#Beware: A few of the courts are slanted, so choose your side of the court wisely. 🙂
